Tango

Rocky Mountain Horse, Chocolate Gelding
Height: 15.1 Hands, Born: 2000?

Stepping off the trailer on March 10, 2024, Tango came with Tucker from Michigan.  In his mid 20s at the time, older horses are often harder to place, and Tango's wonderful owner, Cindy, was looking for a safe forever home for him.

Older horses need more maintenance, and Tango gets special senior feed every day.  Because of that he has become just a nudge spoiled, which matches his teenage looking forelocks.

As with many of our horses, Tango is looking for a monthly sponsor.  If you feel led, please consider Supporting Tango!

Arrivals

Caught on camera, Tango meet's Chip, his "mini-me", for the very first time.  Chip likes to think he is the Farm's ambassador, and always likes to be one of the first to meet new members of the herd.

It's All About the Hair

Tango's bratty forelocks are a favorite at the Farm.  Despite the fact that he is a senior horse, he acts like a teenager, and sports the hair style to match!

Plenty of Miles Left

Many older horses are "put out to pasture" or treated as "lawn ornaments".  While that's fine when the time is right, Tango still has plenty of miles left on him for the gentle trails near Grace Falls Farm.
