Rescued in July of 2018, Maybelline came to the Farm along with another horse, frightened of her new surroundings. It wasn't long, however, that she accepted her new home, and now she's one of the most spoiled horses we have. So spoiled, in fact, that every morning she expects to receive a treat. Most days the sun rises to Maybelline standing somewhere in the paddock, searching for the first human to come outside, or at times she'll stand where she can stare straight into our windows, making sure we don't forget that she's there, patiently waiting for cookies.

Named after the makeup line, since Maybelline is mascara black, she has become the scapegoat of any mysterious happenings at the Farm; for when we can't figure out "who dunnit" the answer we always come back with is "Maybe it's Maybelline!"
