Tennessee Walker, Black Mare
Height: 14.3 hands.
Born: 2010
Recued to the Farm in 2010 at 10 months old from a stall that was knee deep in manure, Sweetie Pie knew absolutely nothing about love or trust. James took the lead with Sweetie Pie, proving to her she was safe and loved, and need not worry. Week by week we could see the confidence grow in our black beauty. Sweetie Pie was given lots of time to grow and mature before going through the process of learning to be ridden. She has learned to love and be loved, one
beautiful step at a time!
She looks even blacker when she's covered in white! Sweetie Pie shows off her "colors" during a snow storm.
You can never call Sweetie Pie late for dinner. She is well known for thundering into the feeding area when the hay starts hitting the ground, and when there's grass in the field you know where you can find her!
When Sweetie Pie means busineess, she means business. Her dead-on stare when she's looking at you... or through you... can be pretty intimidating!
